Thriller Treatment

Story line:

A software engineer arrives in England with his wife. However, one fine day, he is abducted by someone for mysterious reasons. When the protagonist wakes up, he finds himself in a locked room, with the only human contact being a faceless person who delivers his meals. His only window to the outside world is the television in his room and from it, the main character learns that his wife has been murdered and he is the prime suspect. Days become weeks, weeks become months, and months turn into years as he remains locked up, with the television bringing images of a changing world (bombings, Tsunami, underworld gangs).

Then, inexplicably, he is released after spending 10 years locked away. However, he quickly learns that his locked up life is far from over, as he is handed some money and a cell phone, which makes him fink that the game is not over yet. He knows that he’s still being watched this is an example of voyeurism and also raises loads of question, creates enigma.

He starts his hunt for the unknown enemy. He pieces together clues that eventually lead him to the person responsible for his imprisonment, which is a businessman.

The protagonist wanted answers to the two burning questions. 1) Why was he imprisoned in the first place? 2) Why was he released 10 years later? The protagonist uncovers more than a few shocking revelations.

However after a very long period of time the business man tells the protagonist that he’s daughter is still alive which he hasn’t seen since he left her when she was only 4 years old. The antagonist takes the protagonist in a room and makes him watch a TV. A little girl roughly aged 14-15 was getting priced in a prostitute house. Old men were raising bids to buy the innocent little girl.

The protagonist finds out that the girl he was watching was his daughter and tries to get her out of that place. The antagonist tells the protagonist to think about what he did when he was in secondary school. The audience finds out a little story about the protagonist through a flash back of when he was in secondary school. This is what happened:

The protagonist went to the girls dancing lessons after school and tried to rape her but couldn’t really do anything as she ran away but he told everyone how he had sex with her.

Now the innocent girl comes back to school the very next day and people start abusing her and making fun of her. She was quite light hearted as she had no parent just a little brother which was in the same school so she decided to kill herself.

One night the little boy had to see his own sister getting burned in her room and he couldn’t do anything about it as he was too young and the door was locked. So he decided to kill the guy who he thought raped his sister. He waited for more than 20 years to get him. As soon as the protagonists daughter turned 4 he locked him up till the protagonist daughter was the same age as he sister and makes her go through the same thing but however at the end the protagonist get his daughter back all safe. And the antagonist kills the protagonist and looks after the little girl as she was his own sister.
